Juan van Emmerloot: Drums.

Snowy met Walter and Juan when they played at the Jimi Hendrix Festival in Holland in 1992.

He invited them for try-outs in Holland and Germany.

Where they performed under the name of 'Snowy White and the Shadow Indians'

 

They went on to record the next album 'Highway to the Sun' in 1993. Also on this album was Kuma Harada, John "Rabbit" Bundrick, and Tim Hinkley, plus special guests Gary Moore, David Gilmour, Chris Rea and Paul Carrack.

 

1995 saw the release of 'Goldtop', a collection of bands and sessions from Snowy - including the previously hard to find 'Pigs on the wing' from the only studio session with the Pink Floyd.

In 1996 the release of the second album by Snowy White and the White Flames Band, 'No Faith Required', saw the band as a trio with Snowy, Juan and Walter. Touring continued threw out Europe and the fanbase gradually increased.

1998 brought another album, this time 'Little Wing' - the title track is a re-working of the Jimi Hendrix song.

1999 saw the release of the album 'Keep out - we are toxic' Which was released in February throughout Europe. Followed by an extensive German tour.

Also in 1999 another collection of solo material 'Pure Gold - The solo years 1983-98' - with three previously unreleased tracks.

 1999/2000 saw 'Little Wing' released in Europe (released as 'Melting' in America).

 2002 'Restless' released throughout Europe with two record companies, Hypertension in Germany and Upgrade Records in Portugal.

2004 'The Way It Is' released in October in Portugal and Spain and in April 2005 through Soulfood in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and Voiceprint for the rest of Europe.

With Richard Bailey replacing Juan van Emmerloot on drums, and the addition of Max Middleton on keyboards
